The new Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Wireless Services Module (WiSM) helps network administrators easily scale and manage wireless networks. The Cisco WiSM works with Cisco Aironet lightweight access points, the Cisco Wireless Control System, and the Cisco Wireless Location Appliance. Designed for midsized and large enterprise facilities, the module provides clustering capabilities of up to 3,600 lightweight access points per roaming domain and support for more than 10,000 wireless client devices per module.
